What you‘ll need:

  • 280g smooth flour (hladká mouka)

  • 200g butter (maslo)

  • 3 tablespoons agave syrup or honey (agávový sirup nebo med)

  • A pinch of salt (sul)

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (vanilkový extrakt)

Step-by-step instructions:

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients together and knead until you create a smooth dough.

  2. Form a roll, wrap in plastic wrap, and place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes up to 1 hour.

  3. Preheat the oven to 190°C. Line a baking sheet with baking parchment and set aside.

  4. Roll out the rolled dough on a floured surface and you use either a cookie cutter or cutting it into shapes.

  5. When you are ready to bake your cookies, place the cut out cookies on the baking sheet.

  6. Bake up to 10 minutes until the edges start to get golden brown.

  7. Remove the cookies from the oven, let cool down for some time, and then transfer to a wire rack and let cool down completely.

  8. Cookies are ready for your consumption! Happy Easter!
