What do you do in IMSP’s Toddler & Me playgroup?

An enriching experience designed for both you and your child from ages 15 months old up to 3 years old. During this time, your child will be free to explore age-appropriate Montessori materials, making his or her own choices from the classroom shelves and work at his or her own pace in a carefully prepared environment and in a peaceful setting with the guidance of a Montessori teacher and you. These materials encourage the development of a toddler’s independence, concentration, confidence, language and fine motor skills, respect for others and a love of learning.

Who: Children aged 15 months to 3 years, accompanied by their parents.
Led by Ms. Ivana Obradović, our experienced Toddler and Me guide. Ivana holds International Montessori (AMI) training for ages 0–3 and has been lovingly supporting families through this joyful stage of early development since 2015.

Where: Toddler Classroom, International Montessori School of Prague (IMSP)

When: Tuesdays, 15:30 - 17:00, January 19th | 26th February 2nd | 9th | 16th March 2nd | 9th | 16th

Price: CZK 4,100 for 8 classes (CZK 450 per lesson and additional CZK 500 for material fee). Invoices will be issued before the course begins.

In addition, we offer a free Introductory Parent Course for registered parents on Monday, January 18th, 2027 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. This introductory Parent Course is meant for parents only (without children) and offers an introduction to the Montessori approach in the Toddler and Me environment — how we support independence, concentration, and connection through everyday routines and activities.
It’s also an opportunity to understand what to expect during your time in the playgroup and how observation can help you better understand your child’s unfolding development.
If you’re unable to attend, please contact Ms. Ivana to arrange an alternative time or to receive the key information afterward.

At IMSP’s Toddler & Me, you will:

Enjoy meaningful time with your child as they explore a wide range of enriching, hands-on materials.
Benefit from the guidance of an experienced Montessori teacher and discover how to bring these principles into your home.
Learn gentle, practical ways to support your child’s growing independence and confidence during these precious — and sometimes challenging — toddler years.

A light snack will be available for the children; parents are also welcome to bring a small snack or light meal for their child if preferred.

Is your toddler between 12 and 15 months old? We may be able to accommodate young toddlers on an individual basis. Please complete the form below, and we will review your enrollment request individually.
