On this week’s edition of the IMSP podcast, Mariana catches up with alumni Jonas Zapletal. Born and raised in the Czech Republic, Jonas is now completing a bachelor's degree in behavioral science while living abroad in Madrid. Empowered by the freedom and independence he gained during his time at IMSP, Jonas is confidently taking on new challenges.

Twenty years ago, IMSP opened its door for the first time. This podcast series follows Mariana Bečková — IMSP alumna and graduate of the program — as she shines a light on her fellow Montessori graduates. Celebrating our 20th anniversary, we are taking time to reflect with students who have been with us along the way. Six Months as an IMSP Toddler

It has always been my priority to bring my kids up to be independent and curious and to treat them as my equal, if somewhat smaller in size; Montessori education therefore held a great appeal when it came to choosing a kindergarten. It has been six months since my daughter, who is just about to turn three, started attending IMSP and it is a joy and a privilege to observe how she thrives and develops.

What comes after kindergarten

The Montessori Elementary classroom is a dynamic system led by carefully trained teachers to enhance the learning of the 6 to 12-year-old student by aligning with their stage of development.
